APPELLATE AND MUNICIPAL PRACTICE

Over the years, Lawrence has developed considerable experience practicing appellate law at both the state and federal level. 

Early in his career, he prepared and completed over 70 appeals before the California Court of Appeals.  His diligent and hardwork broke new legal ground and resulted in several published opinions, including: People v. McClelland, 42 Cal.App.4th 144, 49 Cal.Rptr.2d 587, (1996); People v. Howard, 33 Cal.App.4th 1407, 39 Cal.Rptr.2d 766 (1995); People v. Black, 28 Cal.Rptr.2d 546 (1994) (depublished); People v. Figueroa, 20 Cal.App.4th 65, 24 Cal.Rptr.2d 368 (1993) and People v. Randle, 8 Cal.App.4th 1023, 10 Cal.Rptr.2d 804 (1992).

Most recently, the firm has handled several criminal appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in cases involving money laundering and drugs.

With respect, to traffic and municipal court matters, we handle matters throughout local muncipal Courts in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Union and Middlesex Counties.
